Disney har nu annonceret, at tre animerede værker fra Hayao Miyazaki er på vej i nye DVD-udgivelser. Det drejer sig om “The Cat Returns”, “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind” og “Porco Rossohas”. Hayao Miyazaki og hans Studio Ghibli stod også bag “Chihiro og Heksene”, der vandt Oscaren for bedste animerede film i 2002.
Hver film præsenteres i 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, og et Dolby Digital 5.1 lydspor på “The Cat Returns”, et mono-lydspor på “Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind” og et 2.0 lydspor på Porco Rosso. Alle udgivelser vil inkludere originalsprog, komplette storyboards for filmene, featurettes og meget andet.
“The Cat Returns”, “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind” og “Porco Rossohas” vil kunne anskaffes som 2-disc sæt på region 1 fra 22. februar 2005.
