Walt Disney Pictures har nu offentliggjort at de vil distribuerer filmatiseringen af C.S. Lewis’ berømte fantasyserie “The Chronicles of Narnia”.
Filmen “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe” vil blive optaget i New Zealand med Andrew Adamson bag kameraet.
Disney håber på at skabe en ny franchise i stil med “Ringenes Herre” og “Harry Potter”, som vil tage brug af hele bogserien af C.S. Lewis. “The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe” er den anden bog i “Narnia”-serien af i alt syv bind og den mest kendte.
Filmen er sat til at få premiere julen 2005.
