Det blev ikke til én eneste Oscar-nominering til “[url=/film/deadpool]Deadpool[/url]”. Derimod fik dansk film hele to nomineringer for “[url=/film/under-sandet-2015]Under sandet[/url]” og kortfilmen “Silent Nights”. “[url=/film/la-la-land]La La Land[/url]” dominerer årets Oscar med utrolige 14 nomineringer.

Værd at bemærke er det også, at Mel Gibson ganske overraskende er nomineret som bedste instruktør efter flere år ude i Hollywood-kulden. Således fik “[url=/film/hacksaw-ridge]Hacksaw Ridge[/url]” hele seks nomineringer.
Også “[url=/film/arrival]Arrival[/url]” kan være tilfredse. Denis Villeneuve og resten af sci-fi-holdet fik hele otte nomineringer – dog ikke som forventet for bedste effekter.
